Chris SD is a music producer who’s worked on 5 albums that have won Juno Awards (Canada’s Grammys) among his 7 nominations, and he was also nominated as Engineer Of The Year in 2012.
He’s a clever guy who came up with the idea of starting an online recording studio that brings world-class talent to anyone for indie rates. Sundown Sessions Studio went online in 2015 and gives artists the chance to work with A-list session players and award-winning engineers no matter where they live.
Chris now also teaches songwriters how to license their songs and he’s created a course called “The Art Of The Song Pitch” which includes in-depth interviews with top licensing experts who work in the industry every day, as well as live coaching. The course covers everything from how to write for licensing, through song production, then targeting it properly to the right potential licensors, and finally how to pitch their songs and negotiate the right deal.
On the intro I’ll look at the new trend in music reaction videos (yes, you read that right), and an overview of interesting new NAMM product introductions.
