Spotify’s US Users, Voice Care In Winter, And Post Engineer Paul Hollman On My Latest Inner Circle Podcast
My guest today on the podcast is engineer Paul Hollman, who mixes and edits sound for film, TV, and streaming broadcast.
His work currently airs on Netflix, Amazon, SyFy, Discovery, Seso, Go90, and Hallmark Channel, and he’s also mixed documentaries which aired on Fox, NBC and PBS.
Paul offers clients a full range of sound services that include ADR, sound effects recording and editing, foley and music editorial. He works mainly out of his own Dub Room Studio in Hollywood, but also spends time in many other recording rooms and stages around Los Angeles.
In the interview we talked about making the transition from music into postproduction, the intricacies of recording voice-overs, mixing indie films, and much more. We spoke via phone from his studio in Hollywood.
On the intro I’ll look at what Spotify’s U.S. users look like, and how to care for your singing voice during the winter.
Enjoy the show!
