DIY Recording Equipment’s Peterson Goodwyn On My Latest Podcast
We all like really great audio gear, but many of us (especially when you’re first starting out) can’t afford it. One saving grace is that there are now many companies that provide kits so you can build the analog gear you need, and one of these is DIY Recording Equipment.
This week I have the company’s founder, Peterson Goodwyn, on the podcast and he tells us about his journey from musician to engineer to DIY. We’ll also talk about his most most sought after kit (you’ll be surprised what it is), how the company develops new kits, and a little about the new ribbon mic kit that they’re offering, and much much more. Make sure to check out their kits, and especially the great blog.
On the intro I’ll talk about YouTube and how the recent comments by its Global Director of Music might affect you, and about the music and musicians of Cuba (thanks to my recent trip there).
You can listen to it at bobbyoinnercircle.com, or via iTunes, Stitcher, Mixcloud or Google Play.
