LyricMerch Allows Fans To Print Their Favorite Lyrics On Merch

Here’s an idea that makes you wonder why it took so long to come about. A new company called LyricMerch allows you to print your favorite song lyrics on a range of products that include coffee mugs, T-shirts and even shower curtains. The company is a subsidiary of LyricFind, a lyric licensing company with a catalog of over a million songs.

The good thing here is that everyone gets paid from a sale, as LyricFind licenses from over 4,000 music publishers, including all the majors: Universal Music Publishing Group, Sony/ATV, Warner/Chappell Music Publishing and Kobalt. It also has deals with Spotify, Google, YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Microsoft, Shazam, The Recording Academy, and partners with Billboard on two lyric charts – LyricFind US and LyricFind Global, that measures the number of search inquiries for lyrics both in the US and world-wide.

LyricMerch doesn’t have every song lyric in the world to choose from available yet, but it does have more than 140,000 of the most popular ones from artists like The Beatles, Drake, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, and many more. The products include crewneck T-Shirts, mens women’s and youth T-shirts, unisex hoodies, phone cases, coffee mugs, and of course, the item that everyone needs, shower curtains. The customer can choose a custom design or one of many professional selections. Prices are fairly reasonable at $29 for a custom T-shirt (although the introductory price is $22).
