Buck Dharma on the Music 3.0 blog

You’ve undoubtedly heard the music from this week’s guest, because his band’s music has been on the radio continually somewhere in the world for the last 40 years or so.  Buck Dharma is lead guitarist and one of the founders of Blue Oyster Cult. He also wrote and sang lead on some of their biggest hits like “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin For You.”

Buck and I talked about the early days of the band when it was called Soft White Underbelly, his best studio experiences, the evolution of his home studio, and the differences in touring these days compared with other stages of the band’s career. Lots of great info here and a great interview!
On the intro I look at the explosion of stream fraud by artists, labels, platforms and even consumers, and a new study that finds audio consoles and mixers are getting cheaper but better.
